The biggest Baltic Film Festival in the USA returns on November 8-19, 2023, screening the best new and critically-acclaimed Estonian, Latvian and Lithuanian films in-person in NYC November 8-12 and virtually to audiences nationwide November 10-19.
The festival will kick off with an Opening Night Celebration with the North American Premiere of “Remember to Blink” (Per Arti, Lithuania, 2023).
On November 9th the festival hosts the night in support of Ukrainian culture with Estonian documentary “What Would You Take” (Heilika Pikkov, Estonia, 2023), panel discussion moderated by Andrew Horodysky (Ukrainian Instituite of America) and concert by Estonian jazz musician Maria Faust.
Following Estonian films are screened at the festival:
- “What Would You Take?” November 9th at 6:30 pm;
- “Machina Faust” November 10th at 6 pm;
- “Melchior The Apothecary. The Executioner’s Daughter” November 11th at 3:15 pm;
- “Smoke Sauna Sisterhood” Novembrr 12th at 7 pm.
First and second film of the Melchior trilogy “Melchior The Apothecary” and “Melchior The Apothecary. The Ghost” are part of the virtual program of the Festival.
